A GLITTERING GALA TO CELEBRATE 200 YEARS

Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds will be celebrating it’s 200th birthday on 11 Oct. To ensure the date passes with the appropriate grandeur a very special gala is being staged, hosted by Roy Hudd and featuring a star-studded lineup of entertainers and performers – A Right Royal Revue (Sun 13 Oct).

The fundraising gala will bring stars from the world of film, stage, comedy, magic and circus together to perform for one incredible night. Hosted by the brilliant Roy Hudd, OBE and directed by his wife Debbie, this night of celebration is not to be missed.

The dazzling list of performers includes comedy ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, comedian Duggie Brown, cabaret double act Kit and McConnel, actor and comedian Don Maclean, illusionist Andy Van Buren, chart-topping soprano Fiona Jessica Wilson, West End star Sammy Kelly, BBC Look East presenter Susie Fowler-Watt and Theatre Royal’s resident dame Chris Clarkson. There will also be music and dancing from Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds’ Young Company and Hazelwood Dance School, and the whole night will be under the adept musical direction of Ward Baker.
