Baubles Of Hope at Theatre Royal

Posted on: 24th November, 2021

Theatre Royal is delighted to be part of the Crafty Foxes and Bury St Edmunds & Beyond Trees of Hope project again this year.

Over 100 baubles marking the birth of a babies born during the months of September, October, November and December in 2020 and 2021 adorn the Theatre Royal Christmas Tree.

The project headed by Michelle Freeman from The Crafty Foxes alongside chairman of Bury St Edmunds and Beyond, Melanie Lesser, sees individually named, decorative baubles placed on trees around the town including Angel Hill, St Edmundsbury Cathedral, the Traverse and the Theatre Royal.

Inside each bauble is a personalised message of reflection from the 2021 new parent or relation and the hopes and wishes they have for their babies’ future.

Baubles were free to those that applied and were financed by Our Bury St Edmunds, West Suffolk Council, Bury St Edmunds Town Council and The Bury Society.

The baubles can be collected from the Bury St Edmunds library in January when they are taken off the trees.
