Joyful Noise Singing Group

A brand new singing group for those who believe that “singing is the next best medicine after laughing.”
Run by Lynn Whitehead, a member of the Natural Voice Network, this group will be about singing together for pleasure without worrying about having a ‘good’ voice or ‘getting it right’.
No previous experience is necessary and definitely no requirement for you to be able to read music. Just come along and use your voice!

What is Natural Voice?
Many people see themselves as ‘non-singers’ because of previous experiences of criticism and judgement. Many are excluded from singing activities because they do not have music-reading skills or trained voices. Natural Voice aims to give people confidence in their voices by providing them with a supportive, accessible and inclusive learning environment.

During the session, Lynn will guide you through a physical and vocal warm-up to support vocal health, confidence and fun. Then, together you’ll learn songs in a traditional way – mostly by ear. Each week you will learn a new, short song (and hopefully make some new friends).

The cost is for all four sessions on the following dates:
