We can’t wait to get back into panto-mode at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds this Christmas and we are looking for young people, aged 9-18, to join our Young Chorus as part of our annual pantomime – Aladdin!

with performances from Fri 22 Nov ’24 – Sun 12 Jan ’25

rehearsal period from 2^nd Nov  – Fri 22^nd  Nov

If you have a passion for performing and are aged between 9 & 18 years, then register for auditions and you could be part of the show! Not only will Aladdin be a great chance to work alongside a professional cast and crew, but it will be a lot of fun and a great chance to make new friends and learn new skills.

You will work with Director Owen Calvert-Lyons and an incredible creative team and a cast of professional actors.

You must be available to attend rehearsals and performances throughout this whole period if offered a place in the Company.

Auditions will take place on:

Sat 21 Sep from 9am to 3pm

at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds

As part of the audition we will ask you to sing, act and dance (you will learn a dance with our choreographer during the audition process).

Please bring/wear:

Dancewear or comfortable clothing

Shoes you can move in (tap or dance shoes if you’d prefer)

A song you are comfortable singing acapella (without music)

Plenty of food and water
