Become Part Of Our Youth Advisory Board

Heading into its third year, our Youth Advisory Board has been going from strength to strength. Since establishing in 2023, our Youth Advisory Board has included 17 local young people who have worked with our team to embed youth voice at the heart of our programmes. Applications have now closed for the year 2025/26.
Over the past two years, the Youth Advisory Board have worked on a series of projects all focused on improving young people’s experiences at the theatre. These have included:
- Improving non-alcoholic options within the bar
- Collaborated on access resources for the theatre
- Supported and facilitated on our ‘Hangout’ programmes designed for young people aged 10-18
- Worked on new initiatives which will be implemented across the new academic year
As part of their role, the Youth Advisory Board have also had the opportunity to attend and support special events including the opening nights of our in-house productions.
The board meet once a month, usually on the first Tuesday between 6pm and 7pm at the Theatre.
