Rapunzel Pantomime Young People Auditions

The application period is now close but look out for future auditions by following us on social media or via our email newsletters. We can’t wait to get back into panto-mode at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds this Christmas and we are looking for young people, aged 10-18, to join our Young Chorus as part of our annual pantomime – Rapunzel!

rehearsal period from 3rd Nov – Fri 21st Nov
If you have a passion for performing and are aged between 10 & 18 years, then register for auditions and you could be part of the show! Not only will Rapunzel be a great chance to work alongside a professional cast and crew, but it will be a lot of fun and a great chance to make new friends and learn new skills.
You will work with Director Owen Calvert-Lyons and an incredible creative team and a cast of professional actors.
You must be available to attend rehearsals and performances throughout this whole period if offered a place in the Company.
Auditions will take place on:
Sat 13th Sep from 9am to 3pm
at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds
As part of the audition we will ask you to sing, act and dance (you will learn a dance with our choreographer during the audition process).
Please bring/wear:
Dancewear or comfortable clothing
Shoes you can move in (tap or dance shoes if you’d prefer)
A song you are comfortable singing acapella (without music)
Plenty of food and water
