Heritage Open Day

We are throwing open the doors of Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, the last remaining Regency playhouse in the country and one of the most beautiful, intimate and historic theatres in the world. Visit us, enjoy our hidden courtyard and take in the magic of this beautiful, historic building.

We’ll be providing a 20-minute concentrated version of our full tours as a little taster on Heritage Open Day. Our lovely volunteers will be on hand to answer any burning questions you might have about the history of our beautiful theatre. You will also have the opportunity to book for forthcoming events at the theatre via our box office. Our bar will be open

This is a free event from 10am to 5pm. Booking your free ticket below will help us manage numbers on the day.
