Restore: Private Screening
Monday 24th February
A short film commemorating 50 Years of RESTORE Women’s Aid.
Even though I’ve been broken, My core remains complete.
Told through a series of snapshots, poems and scenes, Restore follows several women and men as they take journeys away from Domestic Violence. The script was written by a team of service users and staff at RESTORE, supported by the Theatre Royal BSE team, over a period of 3 weeks. This script was then transformed into a short film by East Anglian filmmaker, Kate Flurrie, and a cast of brilliant professional, local talent.
The event begins 6pm with a drinks reception, screening at 6:30 followed by a short Q&A. Age Guidance of 18+ due to frank discussions of domestic abuse, and some strong language, but this is a guidance. This is a private event but attendees may bring one guest. Car park will be open and available from 5:45pm – please purchase a ticket online.
