The Writer’s Room – Spring 2026

Join Theatre Royal’s peer-to-peer writing group, The Writer’s Room – a creative space to explore ideas, build confidence, and share work with supportive fellow writers. Whether you’re penning your first poem or polishing a short story, you’ll find encouragement, inspiration, and time to write in our two-hour sessions.

The Writer’s Room also enjoys guest workshops from industry professionals, and participants can submit their work to an annual The Writer’s Room Showcase, where their writing is performed live at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds by professional actors.
