Suffolk Young People’s Theatre brings you Ghost the Musical, which follows Sam and Molly, a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after Sam’s untimely death.

The bond of love transcends the boundaries of life itself to grow stronger and more fully realised. Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly when he learns that she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to a storefront psychic, Oda Mae Brown, who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death.

Adapted from the hit film and featuring the classic hit ‘Unchained Melody’, Ghost the Musical is a poignant romance which builds comedy, suspense, and deeply felt emotion, to an ethereal climax that audiences will never forget.

Founded 44 years ago, SYPT is an annual three-week summer school, giving 14-21 year-olds the opportunity to work with professionals from the industry, to produce a full-scale production within two-week intensive rehearsals, followed by a week-long run here at Theatre Royal.
