Sleeping Beauty Cast Announcement!

Posted on: 14th September, 2018

Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds’ annual pantomime is always a firm family favourite and so it is a pleasure to now be able to finally reveal the full cast for the upcoming production of Sleeping Beauty, which opens Fri 30 Nov 2018 and runs until Sat 13 Jan 2019.

Firstly it is a tremendous joy to announce that this year’s dame, Nanny Fanny will be played by returning audience-favourite, Chris Clarkson. After winning everyone’s hearts (and a fair few phone numbers) as Dame Winona in Dick Whittington, we are thrilled that his cheeky but loveable antics will be returning. Also returning this year playing the evil fairy Carabosse, is Britt Lenting, who audiences will remember from her devastatingly powerful turn as Elvira in 2016’s pantomime, Beauty and the Beast. Last but not least we are delighted to have playing the role of Grub the kitchen boy, Oliver Mawdsley, who was last seen here at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds playing Jack in 2015’s Jack & the Beanstalk.
