Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds is launching its annual poster competition to celebrate this year’s pantomime, The Legend of Robin Hood. There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs for the winner.

Young people in two age groups under 9 and 9+ are invited to create their own poster based on The Legend of Robin Hood and to let their imaginations run riot with pens, pencils, crayons, paints, tissue paper, glitter or anything they choose to make an eye-catching picture.

The winners from each of the age groups, chosen by the cast of the panto, will win a prize pack including:

• 4 tickets to The Legend of Robin Hood
• A programme signed by the cast
• A photograph taken with the cast (on a specified date only)
• Their poster displayed in the Greene Room Bar during the run of The Legend of Robin Hood (which will be seen by more than 22,000 people!)

All entries should include the artist’s name, age, and contact number and be either A4 or A3.

This year, we will also be accepting digital posters for those who want to express their talents with digital designs or would rather scan their posters and email them in.

The closing date for entries is FRI 18 NOV ’22 and should be sent to Panto Poster Competition, Theatre Royal, Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1QR, dropped off at the Box Office (same address) or emailed to [email protected]
