This summer 2023, Theatre Royal will be staging a brand-new adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Our legendary community production will include local young people performing alongside a professional cast to create an exciting new production on our main stage.

To take part, there is a fee of £250. If this fee could prevent you from taking part please do speak to our team as we are able to offer bursary places to ensure everyone can take part. As a charity, this fee is an important contribution that allows us to give people in our local community the chance to perform alongside professionals in a full-scale Theatre Royal production – but what a lot you get in return! A summer of making friends, learning new skills, performing in front of a live audience and alongside professional actors!
