Toasty Tuesdays at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds 

In conjunction with the Rural Coffee Caravan, we are now a Warm Space and we will be holding Toasty Tuesdays at Theatre Royal from 10am – 12:30am, see dates below.

You are welcome to join us for free hot food, drinks and refreshments, activities, warmth, WIFI, and device charging. We’re disabled access friendly, family-friendly with baby changing facilities – everyone is welcome. TOASTY TUESDAYS is available for anyone to use – no questions asked. It is an opportunity to grab a hot drink and have a bite to eat in the warm.

Theatre Royal’s Artistic Director, Owen Calvert-Lyons is excited to open up the theatre for those in need, “We want to provide a welcoming warm space for those who are struggling with heating their homes this winter. Theatre Royal is a place that welcomes, engages and connects with the local community and by joining this fantastic initiative we can provide anyone who needs it, a safe, warm space to have a chat, meet new people or simply enjoy a hot drink and sit down in our beautiful building.”

Hot food will be provided by the wonderful Baileys 2 with containers provided by Thomas Ridley, activities and crafts by The Crafty Foxes and our creative learning department will be hosting these sessions.
