Turner’s of Great Barton Save the Day!

Posted on: 22nd April, 2019

If you’ve been in Bury St Edmunds or the surrounding villages much, you’re certain to have seen at least one white coach with Turner’s of Great Barton printed along the side, right? This amazing company were more than happy to help local people over Easter weekend when Theatre Royal requested their assistance with the 200 for 200 Sponsored Walk.

On the final day of the 10 day journey, 92 volunteers will be walking alongside our trio for either a 15 mile walk (from Knetishall) or 8 mile walk (from Ixworth) back to Theatre Royal. That’s a lot of people to get to two different starting points. Luckily, Turner’s of Great Barton saved the day and offered a FREE coach to take the 8 mile walkers to the drop off point in Ixworth. Their help is invaluable and we cannot thank them enough.

Turner’s of Great Barton is a local family run business that was established in 1973 and serves the people of Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. Turner’s operates to and from anywhere in the UK, including all airports, seaports, day trips, nights out, London’s West End, as well as contract work – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have a range of wheelchair accessible vehicles and vehicles capable of carrying 4-41 people.
