In May, RojoArt will be working with six local primary schools to make a mosaic mural as part of the 200 anniversary celebrations. The mosaic is to go on the large wall seen from the theatre garden which is the side of the stage. While the mosaic will be mostly made from glass tesserae, it would be wonderful to include pieces of your broken china to be part of this lasting legacy for the building itself. It can include plates, cups, statuettes, ornaments, any broken bits. We are especially looking for gold rimmed pieces, or anything in the theatre colours, sky blue, gold, cream and rich reds. However anything interesting can also be included. Donations of china and ceramic can be dropped off at the box office any time for the attention of RojoArt. Your broken plate might be part of the theatre’s heritage for the next 200 years!
