The seven-time Olivier Award-winning actress and Life Patron of Theatre Royal, Dame Judi Dench will join us for one special performance to talk about her extraordinary life & times, from her childhood in York in the 1930s to her latest Oscar nomination in 2022. 60 years of performances! You can join us from the comfort of your home via a live stream provided by our partners, Theatre Tokens.

We feel very fortunate to have Dame Judi as a Life Patron and to welcome her here again is a momentous occasion for us all. Dame Judi has been so generous and offered her time to support Theatre Royal, to help us raise funds for this very special theatre and to support the huge range of work that we do here.

This is a fundraising event in support of Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds (Registered Charity Number 242977).

Live stream tickets are priced at £15 and sold exclusively though Theatre Tokens.

You will need to create a Theatre Tokens account in order to purchase a ticket.

As this is a live stream event you will only need one ticket per device (not per person).

You can purchase for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

Payment can be using Theatre Tokens, credit /debit Card or Paypal (as this live stream is provided by Theatre Tokens payment is not possible using Theatre Royal credit or gift vouchers).

Once you have purchased a ticket you will receive an order number and an email confirmation – this email will contain a link to the Google form for you to submit your question for Dame Judi.

24 hours before the event you will receive an invite to the event directly from Zoom.
