The Importance of Being… Earnest?
Friday 7th - Saturday 8th June
The Sat 8 Jun, 2pm performance is part of Theatre Club.
Written by Joshua King, Simon Paris and Say It Again, Sorry?
Straight from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
When a traditional production of Oscar Wilde’s classic play gets underway, everything seems to be going perfectly to plan… that is, until the lead actor fails to arrive on cue. Chaos erupts and the theatre company needs YOU to jump in and save the show!
You might think you know this chaotic story of love, mistaken identity and double lives, but you have never seen it like this before. Filled with wicked Wildean wit and bursting with Bunburying, join us for a hilarious and unpredictable twist on the world’s favourite comedy classic.
POST SHOW DISCUSSION.
Theatre Company, Say It Again, Sorry?, will be hosting a free post-show Q&A following the show on Friday 7 June. An opportunity for you to ask any questions you have to the creative team and cast of The Importance of Being… Earnest? This will last approx 30 mins.
A delightful farce – along the lines of The Play That Goes Wrong or Noises Off
An entirely unique, unpredictable and hilarious form of audience participation
Get this on the West End now, please!
An entertaining comedy that lifted everyone’s spirits
A masterclass in comedic theatre
A rather genius idea…
