The role

Under Roger’s guidance, Theatre Royal has thrived, culminating in being awarded Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation status in 2023. We are now looking for someone with a passion for the role of the arts in delivering social change, who is committed to our region, to support our skilled executive and staff team to deliver our ambitious plans for the future.

 

Essential

• Leadership and teamworking skills
• A strategic thinker
• Experience of non-executive governance
• Passion for the performing arts

 

Desirable

• Experience of Charity governance
• Understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the Arts sector
• Line-management skills to support our Artistic Director & Chief Executive
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Knowledge and understanding of our region
• Strong networks within our region
