Big Skies
This work, with teenagers experiencing rural isolation and low cultural engagement, has taken place across eight workshops with 41 young people from Albany PRU, The Meet Up, The Mix, and County Upper School.
Adult Community Projects
Our adult Community company workshops have been delivered since the beginning of the project, providing direct creative opportunities for adults.
Walking Stories
We introduced Walking Stories to further reach out to our community digitally and in a COVID-secure way. The project invited local people to write stories about where they live.
Women’s Refuge
Outreach with Refuge has taken place throughout the project. In September 2019, a six-week project led by Lucinda Meredith and Howard Saddler around self-perception and how others perceive you.
Ickworth Projects
Community writers visited Ickworth in the summer of 2021 to create a script for a digital performance inspired by Ickworth House (National Trust), its history, architecture, collection, and estate.
Beyond Walls
Over this three-year programme, the voice of our community was brought into the heart of Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, enabling us to tell important stories and work with high-calibre artists.
