Come and create with us!

Youth Theatre at Theatre Royal is for anyone with an interest in theatre, writing, creating, or simply if you want to make new friends. No experience is necessary, just come along and get stuck in!

Please note: the cost of our Youth Theatre term is £75.00. Bursary spaces are available, please get in touch.

Summer 2025 dates:

Week beginning 28 April 2025 – Week beginning 7 July 2025.

Half Term (no session) week beginning 26 May 2025.

Sessions are on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday

Monday 4.30pm to 6pm ages 8-11

Wednesday 5pm to 7pm ages 12-16

Thursday 5pm to 7pm ages 12-16

Saturday 10.30am to 12pm ages 8-11

Our sessions run throughout the week during term time and give young people aged 8-16 the chance to experience the power of performance, building confidence and life skills along the way.

All Youth Theatre members get a chance to perform on Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds’ stage in as part of our annual Bloom Festival.
